Date: 21 Sept 2017 My current PGP key has been use in over a decade, and as such, doesn't contain modern hash algorithms. In addition, I used a crufty "key-signing only" key in a time when sub-keys were not well supported (or, well understood by me). For those reasons, I am announcing that I am retiring my old key: sec 1024D/3AA73F84 2005-11-01 [expires: 2017-12-17] Key fingerprint = 24FC D0F3 0D22 3268 A876 D8CC 1C39 A8E6 3AA7 3F84 uid david l goodrich And replacing it with a new key: sec# 4096R/0x28D8B0042C86B463 2017-09-19 [expires: 2019-09-19] Key fingerprint = 706E 8343 3149 0F44 4DA9 9EF7 28D8 B004 2C86 B463 uid david l goodrich effective immediately. The old key 0x3AA73F84 will remain unchanged until about 1 November 2017, when I will send a revocation certificate to the public keyservers at sks-keyservers.net. I would prefer that any new communication with me use the new key. In addition, this transition statement will be signed by both of these keys. I would prefer that this new key be re-integrated into the PGP web-of-trust. If you trusted my old key I would appreciate it if you would trust my new key, and either upload the new signature to a public key server or e-mail me the newly trusted key. Thank you, david l goodrich
